This place has my absolute loyalty. Their sushi is super fresh and the rolls as amazing! And as someone who has to eat gluten free, they have a menu that suits my needs. The service is amazing (it's like they treat us like family!) and we always have a good time when we go!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tama Sushi is one of our favorite spots, and we keep coming back! They have something for everyone, whether you're vegan or not. We usually come for the vegan sushi, and it never disappoints. This visit we ordered the Vegan Valley Roll, Vegan California Roll, and Taiwan Rolls, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It's not always easy to find a sushi restaurant with great vegan options, but Tama Sushi consistently delivers. To top it all off, we had the banana tempura with coconut ice cream for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. If you're dining with a mix of vegans and non-vegans, this is the perfect place because everyone leaves happy. Highly recommend!

I love tama sushi! They are so friendly he food and the vibe is amazing 👏 I literally come at least once a week from dtla for the food. All the rolls are so delicious. You have to get the vegan ufo and my favorites the electric eel and magic mountain. Honestly you cant go wrong with anything tho. I've been coming here for at least 3 years. Also great for vegans and non vegans amazing options for both. Great fo birthdays! Love them so much !

This is our comfort-food sushi spot. We always order the Fresh Roll, and the Grinch Roll is so good. I’m not even vegan, but their vegan options are honestly delicious. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing — even the ramen (gluten free option). I really appreciate that they accommodate both vegan and gluten-free diets so thoughtfully. Tama Sushi is our go-to spot. I know there are a lot of great sushi places out there, but this one feels like home. Tama, Mercedes and the staff are some of the kindest people we’ve ever encountered. It’s family-owned, and you can truly feel that warmth the moment you walk in. At the end of the day, we just want to support businesses with kind souls — and Tama Sushi is exactly that.

Everything we ordered was delicious, food came out quickly and there was complimentary miso before our meal. Tempura was light and crispy. Rice was well cooked and delicious. The special inari was a true stand out, I highly recommend trying it! We ate on the outdoor patio which was nice
